Based on our discussion, what conclusions can you make aabout gender expectations for white middle class teens in the 1950s?

In the 1950s, white middle class teens were expected to be saints in comparison to today's society. Girls were expected to be so demure and mindful of their appearance. Whereas the boys were supposed to be Gentlemen and always taking care of the the defenseless little girl. It's clear who has a dominant role (men) between genders in 1950s society. A female's place in this male dominated society revolve's around what the man expects of a woman.
