First a note on file conversion: I think you are using WordPerfect as your word processing source. This is a good piece of software, but it won't match what the rest of the class has and be hard for everyone to convert (including me). In the future, save your doc as a Word doc or use one of the public computers in the labs on campus for processing. (You can also buy Word for about $25 fronm the Ram's Head if you don't have it.) It will make emailing to your profs much easier.
Now- on to your essay. Your visual strengths are evident in this essay and the revisions you made have made a world of difference. They have changed the tone of the essay considerably. If you revise this paper for the portfolio, you might want to think some about how your word or language choices are effecting your credibility and accessiblity. Good work.
